It is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 2 billion square meters of wet-process lithium-ion battery separators and corresponding coated separators.
Local media reported on the event, stating: “Penang is proud to be the home of Senior Material’s ASEAN base. With its strong background in separator R&D and manufacturing, this strategic partnership with Penang will bring new opportunities for local economic growth and social development.”
