On December 4, a delegation led by Jimmy Jansson, a councilor from Eskilstuna, Sweden, visited Senior Europe. They were accompanied by Senior Material’s Chairman, Chen Xiufeng, and the Senior Europe team.
During the visit to the first-phase factory of the European base, Chairman Chen and Mr. Jansson engaged in in-depth discussions on company operations, continuous technological innovation, partnerships, and future plans. Chairman Chen expressed optimism about the growth of the new energy sector in Europe. He noted that with the increasing global demand for clean energy and green technology, coupled with ongoing support from local governments, the lithium battery industry in Europe is expected to experience rapid expansion by 2027, creating greater opportunities for Senior Europe. Mr. Jansson highly recognized Senior Material’s strategic presence in Europe and expressed his willingness to provide necessary support for its future development.
Mr. Jansson also inspected the second-phase project at the European base, which achieved remarkable progress—completing the main structure and ground facilities within ten months while maintaining high safety and quality standards. “The scale of this project is truly impressive. The speed and results of construction are beyond imagination,” he remarked, giving high praise to the development of Senior Europe’s second phase.
“The visit of Councilor Jimmy Jansson marks an important milestone in our long-term cooperation with Eskilstuna and reflects our commitment to driving sustainable development both regionally and internationally,” said Liu Shougui, CEO of Senior Europe.
This visit highlights the phased achievements of Senior Material’s sustainable development efforts in Europe. It underscores Senior Europe’s vision to promote green technologies and sustainable material solutions amid the rapid growth of the new energy vehicle industry. Moreover, it injects new momentum into China-Europe and China-Sweden cooperation. Looking ahead, Senior Material will continue strengthening partnerships across the industrial chain, fostering technological innovation, and contributing to a greener, low-carbon future.
